Time travel back to when the Research Society on Alcohol (RSA) annual meeting was in our own Minneapolis, MN in 2024. 

Symposium on Pain and Alcohol (SPA) day by MNPARC 

The very first Symposium on Pain and Alcohol (SPA) by MNPARC was organized by Dr. Jeff Boissoneault (University of Minnesota) and Dr. Ryan Carpenter (Notre Dame University). SPA brought together researchers and trainees interested in the intersection of pain and alcohol from across the country. We had a wonderful selection of speakers and topics, including an introduction by Dr. Mark Egli (NIAAA) and the keynote presentations by Dr. Scott Edwards (LSU) and Dr. Emily Zale (Binghamton University).

Having RSA in Minneapolis was a great way to showcase our city and the great work by University of Minnesota students. We can't wait for RSA to return!
